Axway is currently seeking a Principal Services Architect who is specialised in the Digital Domain. The Principal Services Architect will demonstrate a high level of technical expertise on industry leading Hybrid Integration platforms and API management products. They will have a proven track record of helping customers define their digital architecture to make best use of such products
Ensure that Axway’s API technology is successfully deployed by defining the right architecture to integrate the solution in the customer’s digital environment.
Guide Axway’s API Management customers by providing best practice and advice.
Provide expert level consultancy on API management technology and its deployment.
Participate as a technical expert on Axway AMPLIFY™ products and platforms.
Participate to the presales phase to show the value of services to deploy the solution.
Lead discovery workshop sessions to gather customer requirements and critical business challenges.
Support proof of concepts (POC’s). Contribute to POC plans with agreed use cases. Work with presales support teams to execute on the POC.
Support post sales activities such as design assistance for complex use cases, architecture guidance, customer health assessments, and advisory services.
Coach client and partner consultants on the digital transformation and technical design best practice
Stay current on the latest technology and contributes to the technical direction of the company while keeping a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications and Experience
(Must have) Minimum of 3 years of externally (customer) facing Full Lifecycle API Management Architect/Consultant experience within an IT Software product company or Systems Integration/Consulting firm using products like Axway/Vordel, Apigee, Mulesoft, Oracle, IBM Datapower/API Connect/StrongLoop, WSO2, Akana, TIBCO/Mashery, CA/Layer 7, etc.
Minimum 10 years of experience in the IT industry working with API Gateways, SOA, EAI, ESB, Networking, Security, Middleware, B2B, B2C and business applications.
Broad understanding of mobile, cloud, on premise, and hybrid solutions as well as containers and deployment platforms (Bluemix, Azure, AWS, etc).
Vast knowledge around enterprise security, identity management (IAM), and best practices minimally including PKI, CA, TLS, S/MIME, AuthN, AuthZ, SSO, SAML, LDAP, OpenID, Multifactor, and OAuth.
Experience with networking protocols and technology: TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP, HTTP, DNS, WAN, LAN, VPN, Internet, Intranet, Extranet
Best practice and experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Technical knowledge: Strong Unix/Linux/Windows, Networking, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL databases, Cloud services (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS);
Experience of working with enterprise level, blue chip, companies is preferred.
Experience of working within or with Banking/FSI, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Government, and/or Supply Chain Domains is a plus
Willingness to travel across Northern Europe and to the EMEA headquarters in Paris, as business needs demand, is expected.
- Bachelor's Degree, with a technical major, such as engineering in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
