Applied Materials Supplier engineer (Electronics and Computing) in Rehovot, Israel
We are looking for a senior and experienced Engineer to manage the technical domain of Applied Materials cutting-edge suppliers as part of the Product Development division.

Supplier Engineering group consists of highly experienced engineers in many disciplines, such as Mechanics, Optics, Electronics and Motion, responsible for managing all technical aspects of cutting-edge suppliers worldwide.
We drive our suppliers to excellence, enabling smooth manufacturing processes in our facility in Rehovot.
What you'll be doing?
Responsibility for Applied Materials Suppliers manufacturing compliance from early NPI processes through engineering transitions to sustained production.
Early engagement in NPI development processes, Leading Suppliers Engineering perspective and influencing Product-design to achieve Operational criteria, Suppliers optimized Testability and Manufacturability.
Responsibility over Applied Material future growth in terms of Suppliers' capacity
Managing electronics, mechanics, and electrical items manufacturers as well as T/K subcontractors (PCB, High Voltage, PCBA and Cables)
Root Cause Analysis and Test Planning: Performing in-depth root cause analysis by meticulously analyzing failure modes and devising comprehensive test plans.
Setting Tester requirements for new electronics modules, and defining requirements to improve existing production and functional testers.
Provide engineering support to various departments, including Production, Service, Materials, Logistics, Procurement, Qual and R&D
What you should have?
Education: Electrical Engineering or Computers Engineering Degree
Experience: 5+ Years of experience under relevant professional positions
Experience working with Suppliers through Development/ Engineering transitions and Sustained manufacturing processes
Experience in multidisciplinary R&D and Engineering processes.
High Technical capabilities, Demonstrating in-depth comprehensive understanding within own discipline and wide knowledge of others.
Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
