Job Title: Security Program Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Security Program Manager to provide leadership and technical expertise in strategizing, planning, and executing security program initiatives. You will be responsible for offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on organizational needs and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve developing, enhancing, and standardizing security procedures, processes, training, and associated documentation. You will also advise on security protocols for facilities, access control, monitoring systems, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and technical expertise to strategize, plan and execute security program initiatives.

  • Offer insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of the security program based on organizational needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop, enhance, and standardize security procedures, processes, training, and associated documentation upon request.

  • Advise on security protocols for facilities, access control, monitoring systems, and regulatory compliance.

  • Partner with the security leadership team, including service providers, on program initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to implement procedures, processes, and mitigation strategies.

  • Conduct regular review sessions to track progress on action plans and prioritize as necessary.

  • Complete ongoing security risk assessments for all current facilities, including refreshing prior assessments to incorporate new buildings and sites.

  • Evaluate existing and new risks associated with the specific environment and operations.

  • Deliver detailed reports for each assessment, highlighting vulnerabilities and recommended mitigation strategies.

  • Provide on-demand security consultation support for day-to-day operations.

  • Respond promptly to urgent or emerging security issues upon request.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience running programs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Redwood City, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
