Summary About the Position: This position is located at Redstone Arsenal, AL with the Space and Missile Defense Center of Excellence (SMDCoE) Operations Directorate. Incumbent advises the SMDCoE Operations Director and Deputy Director on the distribution and allocation of civilian manpower assigned to Redstone Arsenal, AL, Colorado Springs CO., Fort Carson CO, Peterson Space Force Base, CO and Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Responsibilities Represents the organization in support of civilian manpower or human capital planning surveys, meetings or programs. Advises leadership on the effective use of planning and utilization of civilian manpower. Analyzes data for input into organizational strategic objectives and civilian manpower resourcing decisions. Provides expertise on plans, policies, priorities, and organizational structure for workforce design goals and objectives. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Managing the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA), to include verifying paragraph and line entries, nomenclature, quantity, and TDA change requests; Utilizing automated system or organizational systems to generate civilian workforce data and reports for analysis; And Applying analytics to improve the accuracy and compliance of manpower, personnel and equipment documentation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03/GS-13). For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
