IPT is looking for great talented people to support the work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC). AvMC is the Army’s focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms across the life cycle. AvMC’s mission is to “deliver collaborative and innovative aviation and missile capabilities for responsive and cost-effective research, development, and life cycle engineering solutions” to equip the Warfighter with the best technology today and tomorrow.

Please note that the AvMC positions come with varying degrees of remote/on-site support at the discretion of the customer

Responsibilities:

  • Support the CIO/G6 Cybersecurity team with strategic development of an organizational model to form the basis of the AvMC Cybersecurity Program

  • Determine the current cybersecurity posture, identify current and potential risks for prioritization, and develop actionable strategies for the Cybersecurity Program that map to the objectives of the organization

  • Align and integrate cybersecurity priorities with the Army cybersecurity framework and the CIO/G6

  • Communicate and promote enterprise-wide awareness of the Cybersecurity Program

  • Support the CIO/G6 Cybersecurity team with the development, operation, and maintenance of the CIO/G6 Cybersecurity Portal to promote program awareness and enable the automation of cybersecurity processes. Provide a web-based, integrated capability that is aligned to incident handling and response plans/processes while automating reporting requirements

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain automated dashboards to alert the Government of the Cybersecurity status of AvMC networks and systems to include but not limited to compliance with Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&M), STIGs, and Cyber Tasking Orders

  • Implement the approved architecture and cyber strategy for the Center

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in computer science or related field

  • Great communication and organizational skills

  • Fifteen (15) years of prior experience in a similar role

  • DoD 8570 Level II/III certification desired

  • US Secret Clearance
