Averro LLC Welder in Redmond, Washington

Onsite or Remote: Onsite in Redmond, WA Employment Type: *Contract-to-hire, 6+ months *Pay Rate: $26.17/hr Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm + OT (2 hours after shifts or on Fridays) Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.* **Benefits: Medical insurance, 401K, sick leave, and employee assistance program.

Role & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a *Welding Specialist *for an equipment building manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in welding or completed trade school for welding looking to further their career in manufacturing.

  • Loads, unloads parts and weldments into variety of welding fixtures, depending on the production team needs.
  • Reviews blueprints and other schematic drawings to ensure proper weld sizes, lengths are used on weldments.
  • Prepares the layout of equipment to perform as needed. Moves equipment into proper location to maximize safety, function, and quality.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of welding experience or recent completion of trade school with a focus on MIG welding.
  • Basic technical knowledge of Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) welding techniques and setup, verification, and operation of welding equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint layouts and symbols.
  • Requires the ability to pass a written and verbal Weld Test.
