Job Description: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators, and manage the lifecycle of dynamic projects. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Manage project implementation, which may include resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, and training of technical development and product planning teams. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate software-related, centralized and coordinated program, product, or project management experience and/or experience in designing, developing and releasing software products or services.
- *Specific Skills: *Must include 60 months of experience in: Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release; Agile Methodology; Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; SDLC; and System analysis and design.
Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position TSKBR18242, based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $192,166 to $222,166.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
