Amazon Sr. EMI/EMC Design Engineer in Redmond, Washington
Description
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
As a Senior EMI/EMC design Engineer, you will be a part of the team working on the development of advanced Customer Terminal products. You will own or contribute to the following:
Design EMI/EMC for high-complexity electronic devices
Design and optimization of different blocks of electronics sub-systems
Schematic capture and lead grounding design
Support flow-down requirement definitions and generate test plans/procedures
Perform test campaigns of modules and subsystems
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Redmond, WA, USA
Basic Qualifications
MS degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in EMI/EMC and desense design
Experience in signal and power integrity design and analysis
Experience with mixed signal PCB layout designs
Experience in using schematic capture tool and PCB layout viewer
Experience with board bring up and debugging in lab environment
Experience using lab
Preferred Qualifications
Masters of Science or PhD in electrical engineering or computer engineering
Extensive Hands-on experiences in EM simulations and EMI debugging bench works.
Familiarity with analog electronics fundamentals (transistors, op-amps, filters, etc.)
Familiarity with DC power supply designs
Experience with Mentor Graphics or Cadence layout tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
