We are looking for a passionate and motivated Senior Software Engineer who can design and develop our Business Applications & Industry cloud vertical applications and solutions leveraging the power of Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Azure. As part of the Dynamics 365 Engineering Organization, our team delivers business applications for Connected Customer Care - for contact centers supporting customer on real-time chats with AI and live agents. As a Senior Software Engineer you will work with senior buisness and technology leaders and with your team members to design and implement Dynamics 365 applicaitons and pick the best technical architecture to solve their buisness needs. Our product builds on cloud-scale backend services, integrates AI services, and delivers end-to-end experiences through embedded web chat, social channels like WhatsApp, and extensibility through real-time APIs. We innovate quickly and collaborate closely with our partners and customer in a very agile, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and software engineers to design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain the new Core Service platform for Digital Messaging services.

  • Generate high-quality and comprehensively documented code in the C# programming language.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members at various stages of their professional development, as needed or as directed by management.

  • Engage in teamwork to analyze and address production incidents in our Azure cloud deployments.

  • Builds knowledge, shares new ideas, and shares pinpoints of engineering tool gaps to improve development and maintenance of complex product features and contribute to success of others.

  • Work within the code, support the service, and grasp the intricacies of the software.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements

The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain complex software applications

  • Direct experience in conceptualizing and delivering software products

  • Solid understanding of software development and testing principles. Innovative mindset with the capability to develop and test applications throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
