Job Description

A PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Sourcing Program Manager role requires a blend of technical knowledge, supply chain expertise, and strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and quality.

  • Oversee PCB supplier management, operations, and delivery.

  • Develop and maintain vendor performance management, including KPIs and scorecards.

  • Translate technical requirements into sourcing strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance processes and requirements in PCB production.

  • Manage international suppliers and travel as needed.

  • Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Smartsheet.

  • Use ERP systems like SAP and Coupa for efficient program management.

  • Mitigate risks and manage project timelines and schedules.

Essential Skills

  • Understanding of PCB manufacturing processes such as layer stack-up, impedance control, HDI, and flex/rigid-flex.

  • Familiarity with PCB materials like FR-4 and polyimide, and surface finishes.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering files and design specifications.

  • Knowledge of industry standards like IPC 6015, Coupon testing, and aerospace PCB standards.

  • Experience in PCB supplier management and global supply chain dynamics.

  • Strong understanding of value stream processes in PCB fabrication.

  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in managing at least 6-12 PCB SQU’s across 2-3 suppliers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with engineering documentation and background in electronics manufacturing.

  • Background in running factory operations, engineering, electrical engineering, and program management.

  • Familiarity with compliance requirements such as export controls and structural and reliability lab testing.

  • Ability to manage international travel requirements, with 25%+ travel per month to Asia (Taiwan & S. Korea).

Work Environment

This role is based out of Redmond, WA, requiring 5 days per week in office except when traveling. The position involves working onsite and traveling up to 25% of the time to South Korea or Taiwan. This position offers potential for permanent placement as the program grows rapidly and milestones approach.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
