Aston Carter Inventory/Supply Chain Analyst in Redmond, Washington

Description:

We are hiring for a Supply Chain/Inventory Analyst role. The main hub will be based out of Totem Lake/Kirkland but will also be splitting time with Redmond (they have inter-facility transport so no need to drive between the 2 locations).

  • Mostly based out of Totem Lake, not as much travel required but candidates do have to be okay/comfortable traveling between both sites

  • Managing metrics and daily reports generated for standups, but also looking at doing this at a larger scope for the business.

  • They will be doing something similar but instead of following materials, they’ll be running with product resolution, working with leads, SOPs/documentation, working within Excel, root cause analysis, fish bone diagram/etc.

  • The role will involve entering and pulling data from their systems i.e. if there are discrepancies that go out to production floor, digital not matching physical inventory/parts, taking this info to take down part number/date reported, look into SAP, run investigations and then work on product resolution and how do they prevent this from happening again?

  • This role will entail entering/pulling data/info, investigations/deep dive, taking info in a trending format to pull raw data and create pivot table or graph so HM can show over a period of time consistencies or inconsistencies.

  • 50% data entry/collection/analysis and 50% physically handling materials/processing them through ERP systems and assisting other areas for processing materials.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. 1+ year of experience familiar with process audits/fish bone diagrams/root cause analysis

  2. Process analysis – looking at a process and analyzing inefficiencies

  3. Aerospace/automotive/warehouse/supply chain or waste management exp

  4. Excel (pivot tables/vlookups/creating formulas); if not Excel, they can have similar experience within Quip or Smartsheet, whatever medium works best for the candidate
