Typical Day in the Role Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is : o Leading verification for a project called Lapine mixed reality team. Its a video processing pipeline for input images. bull Key projects: This role will contribute to: Lapine Project Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of: o 10-15 meetings o Heads down work - writing test plans dev new tests debugging new test Compelling Story Candidate Value Proposition What makes this role interesting? - This role provides the opportunity to: o This is a brand new project not just a modification of older projects. Candidate Requirements Years of Experience Required: 10 overall years of experience in the field. bull Degrees or certifications required: BA in electrical or computer engineering degree is nice to have for this role. Disqualifiers: Candidates with this will not be eligible for the role: o Lack of education or industry mismatching Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain: o Self-driven individual o Someone who has worked on pre silicon verification. o Extensive debugging experience bull Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on : o Very specific tasks will be given so accurate timely completion of these tasks Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience 1. Minimum 10 years experience with : Expertise in UVM TB development from scratch 2. Minimum 10 years experience with : block level and SOC level verification 3. Minimum 10 years experience with : RTL debug expertise Additional skills that will put candidates at the top of the list. 1. Experience in test-plan writing 2. DPI call methodology for C model 3. Some scripting knowledge to work efficiently Hard Skills Assessments Expected Dates that Hard Skills Assessments will be scheduled: 4/29-5/3 Hard Skills Assessment Process: The assessment process will include: 1 or 2 rounds of 1 hour duration Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should have this prepared prior to the assessment: o Ready to discuss experience and code on the spot Summary: The main function of Silicon Verification Engineer is to be a part of the test-plan generation process creating testing and implementing various verification plans. Job Responsibilities: Define document and implement a UVM verification environment including agents and scoreboards Write test plans and implement them by developing tests test generators test benches checkers coverage and other verification collateral Run tests on RTL and Gate Level Netlists debug failures to root cause and recommend fixes Support post-silicon verification activities of the products working with design and product teams Skills: Proficient in using Verilog and VMM/OVM/UVM Experience in pre and post silicon verification test flow and automated test benches Effective communication collaboration and teamwork skills Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering required. 10 years experience required.
