Actalent Electrical Test Engineer in Redmond, Washington
Description:
The Sr. EE Test Engineer will support the development, test, operation of the hardware test for various satellite avionics and hardware and leading the review. This work will include cross-functional coordination to determine test requirements and capabilities. You will ensure HW testing supports both development work and end-product validation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering
3+ years of work experience in Automotive, Robotics, Power Electronics, Consumer Electronics, or combination
Hands-on testing and debugging programmable electronics hardware using electrical test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, Phase noise analyzer, etc.)
Experienced with testing Clocks (eye diagram, phase noise, etc.)
Experienced with testing Power supply (DC, AC ripple, transient response, load step)
Experienced to look at failures, and root cause the issue and provide the solution
Experience creating detailed hardware test plans and procedures, driving products through verification and early manufacturing runs
Experience with engineering documentation (electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, requirements documentation, interface control, version control)
Familiarity and experience with several communications protocols (e.g. SPI, I2C, I3C)
Knowledge of engineering best practices & patterns for the full software/hardware development life cycle, including design reviews, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and certification
Knowledge of hardware and software tools for test automation (e.g. Python, C/C++ etc.)
