Meta Electrical Engineer - Wearables Sustaining in Redmond, Washington

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer (EE) to join our Wearables Sustaining Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical design support, ensuring seamless product updates, and maintaining the highest level of quality in our wearable consumer electronics products.

Required Skills:

Electrical Engineer - Wearables Sustaining Responsibilities:

  1. Identify opportunities for component replacement and obsolescence management

  2. Develop and implement PRQ plans for product updates, including electrical design modifications and testing

  3. Update drawings, parts, and documentation to reflect changes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure successful product updates

  5. Analyze and resolve electrical design issues, providing recommendations for improvement

  6. Ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles are applied to all product updates

  7. Manage part numbering and revision control for electrical components

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  2. 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering in the consumer electronics industry

  3. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., Altium, Cadence)

  4. Understanding of electrical design principles, circuit analysis, and electronics manufacturing processes

  5. Effective communication and collaboration skills

Public Compensation:

$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
