Job Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Red Wing, United States. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility's equipment and systems through regular maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. Perform routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure optimal performance Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in a timely manner Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and breakdowns Install, modify, and upgrade equipment and systems as needed Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory Collaborate with other departments to ensure safe and efficient operations Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance tasks Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2nd Class B MN State Boiler's License (obtained or willing to obtain) Prefer 3 years of experience, minimum of 2years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field Valid driver's license Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Proficiency in using various hand and power tools Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints Basic computer skills for maintenance management systems Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in industrial settings Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices Physical ability to lift up to 75pounds and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, climbing) Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Boiler operations, HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively Good communication skills to interact with team members and other departments Additional Information Red Wing Shoes is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
