Job Title: Welder - 2nd Shift
Job Description
Candidates will be performing Mig Welding on different projects daily, including trash cans, park benches, grills, and playground equipment. This will consist of reading blueprints that detail how each project needs to be welded.
Responsibilities
Perform Mig Welding on various projects such as trash cans, park benches, grills, and playground equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints to accurately weld each project.
Fabricate and produce welded components as per project requirements.
Utilize grinders and power tools effectively in the welding process.
Essential Skills
Mig Welding
Blueprint reading
6+ months of welding experience (can be obtained through a degree from college)
Experience working with grinders and power tools
Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in production welding
Ability to work in a loud and non-climate controlled environment

Work Environment
The work environment is a typical production facility with roughly 10-15 different welding bays operating at all times. It can be loud and is not climate controlled, requiring the ability to stand on your feet for 10-hour shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Bud, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
