Job Purpose
Interact with production, engineering, sales, and procurement to ensure adherence to quality and requirements.
Principal Accountabilities
Comply with all company policies, rules and procedures.
Maintain product traceability
Perform raw material inspection and approval.
Perform full inspection of complete products from outside suppliers.
Interact with ISR’s, planning and quality from other facilities to accommodate delivery schedule and customer requirements.
Serve as a problem solving resource to all departments.
Implement quality tools like SPC, ISO, RCA, Six Sigma, etc.
Train operators on quality issues and inspection techniques.
Close customer complaints, investigate root cause and facilitate corrective actions.
Create/modify exhibits, SOPs, production inspection plans as needed.
Maintain work area, all quality related M3 locations and company property to high housekeeping standards.
Maintain accurate work documentation including the necessary M3 transactions.
Initiate/support activities to minimize down time, improve product/process quality including scrap reduction.
Inspect product and coordinate testing to insure quality and customer requirements are met.
Make disposition on non-conformed product and hold MRB discussions as needed.
Perform in-process quality checks and take corrective action in the event of process deviations.
Have UT knowledge and be able to assist operators in setup of UT equipment.
Perform audits to monitor adherence to requirements.
Assist with M3 transactional errors
Perform additional duties as required.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent English reading, writing, mathematical and comprehension skills
Ability to read and comprehend SDS sheets, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and job safety analysis (JSA’s).
Working knowledge of measuring equipment, including: tape measure and micrometers.
Physically able to perform work assignments.
Quality skills: SPC trained, trained Quality Specialist.
Good communication skills.
Must have general mechanical aptitude.
Computer literate.

- The salary range for this position is $23.52-$28.87. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
