City of Rawlins Parks and Recreation Director in Rawlins, Wyoming

The City of Rawlins is currently seeking applications for the position of Parks and Recreation Director.

The Parks and Recreation Director is under the direction of the City Manager and performs administrative, managerial and operational duties related to planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the comprehensive parks and recreaton operations of the city, including, recreation center, shooting ranges, organized recreational programs, green spaces and golf course.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation Administration, Horticulture, Forestry, Recreation or a related field. Eight (8) years of experience performing above and related duties or an equivalent combination of education and experience. See attached full job description.

Rawlins is the largest city in Carbon County located in south central Wyoming straddling the Continental Divide. Carbon County has 7,905 square miles of land, approximately half of which is federal lands supporting diverse wildlife with great outdoor recreation opportunities.

This is a full-time position starting at $68,432.00 annually.
