The Ravenna City School Board of Education is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Treasurer. The Board seeks an outstanding administrator who will continue the focus on excellence, communications, trust, and transparency.
Qualifications and Successful Candidate Profile:
Creating a well-defined candidate profile is crucial as it serves as the foundation for Finding Leaders' successful recruitment process, ensuring that the next financial leader aligns with the district's specific needs and goals.
- Prior Treasurer/CFO experience is preferred but not required
- An excellent communicator
- Holds a valid Ohio Treasurer's License
- A collaborative leader
- Willingness to actively engage the community and various organizations
- Values teamwork
- Relationship builder who can build trust
- Understanding of Ohio school finance and school law
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective interactions with the Board of Education, staff, students, parents, and the community
- Ability to foster and maintain an atmosphere of respect and trust
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
