Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Roofers for projects located in the Rathdrum, ID area . This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Remove existing roofing materials, including shingles, TPO, and metal and ensuring proper disposal
Install various roofing systems, including asphalt shingles, TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin), and metal panels
Prepare and clean roof surfaces before installation
Ensure proper sealing, flashing, and waterproofing techniques are applied
Operate and maintain roofing tools and equipment safely
Follow safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to prevent job site accidents
Work with a team to complete projects efficiently and on time
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and durability
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and material needs
Requirements
OSHA 10 Certification; TI can provide training for qualified candidates
Ability to work at heights and on steep slopes
Familiarity with roofing tools and safety procedures
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
Knowledge of proper installation techniques to prevent leaks and structural damage
Valid driver’s license preferred
Minimum of 4+ years of experience
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
