Job Description:
We are searching for the best talent for Manager, Records and Information Management (RIM) to be in Raritan, New Jersey.
Purpose: Manage the comprehensive Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) Records and Information Management (RIM) program for J&J Corporate functions in alignment with company policy and standards. Represents supported businesses as a member of global Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to assess retention strategy and requirements for processes including software development lifecycle, acquisitions and divestitures, and records disposition, as well as related activities such as reviewing RIM language within contracts and lending expertise to the J&J RIM community of practice.
You will be responsible for :
Corporate Records Manager
Manage an effective RIM program in accordance with company policy and standards, including implementing and maintaining procedures, developing and providing training, communicating, collaborating to support business partners and encouraging increased alignment to requirements.
Identify and mitigate RIM related risks and provide management reports and metrics.
Lead the Records Coordinator network and perform business area and supplier compliance assessments to identify issues.
Implement and control inactive records storage processes, deploy effective vital records protection practices, and coordinate the disposition of information that has met retention expiry and legal hold requirements.
Ensure efficient processes for management of RIM-related supplier contracts and provide guidance regarding RIM contract language within business-related supplier agreements.
Provide RIM support for audits and inspections performed by internal teams and external regulatory authorities.
Participate in special projects and CoEs to explore the diversity of global RIM programs and leverage methodologies locally.
ISRM RIM Operations North American RIM Program
Manage the assessment program for supplier facilities providing off-site storage services for supported companies.
Oversee the RIM program procedural documentation, compliance assessment processes, and litigation support.
Ensure training is defined for department associates and coordinate monitoring of the North America RIM program training.
People Leadership
- Manage one direct report and lead contractors, suppliers, and/or project team members.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in records management, information management or a relevant field.
Minimum of seven years of direct related records and information management experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical industry, medical devices or other regulated environment.
Experience in the development and maintenance of a RIM program and associated training.
Experience conducting compliance-based audits or assessments.
Advanced technical and analytical skills using MS Office productivity tools within network/cloud environments (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, Databases, iCloud, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
Experience with electronic document or records management systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with executive levels of management.
Proven project management skills.
Superb communication and presentation skills.
Highly motivated, creative, and innovative self-starter.
Resourceful, self-reliant and able to make informed decisions.
Strong negotiation skills to influence and engage with a wide variety of partners at all levels.
Capable of collaborating with people from a range of cultural, geographic, and functional backgrounds value diversity and drive an inclusive culture.
Ability to lift carton weighing up to 50lbs/23kg as needed.
Travel (<10%) to regional business and supplier sites as needed.
Preferred:
Advanced degree or equivalent experience
Certifications or professional accreditations such as Information Governance Professional (IGP), Certified Information Governance Officer (CIGO), Certified Records Manager (CRM), or Certified Information Professional (CIP)
People management experience
Familiarity with global regulations, Privacy and Information Asset Protection

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$100,000 - $172,500
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
