*DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Setup tables, chairs, and room dcor to client or sales department specification
- Takedown meeting equipment after guest meetings
- Setup stages, dance floors, and other requested equipment
- Store banquet furniture in an organized way in designated areas
- Watch for and report damage to hotel or rental equipment
- *Other duties as-assigned *

- Present a crisp and polished appearance that is reflective of IHG brand standards
- Demonstrate a passionate commitment to the business
- Be honest, reliable, and timely
- Maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Be able to multi-task, talk, and listen simultaneously while guests are present
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information
- Strive to build and maintain good and productive relationships with all team members
- *Possess a thorough understanding of local area, including attractions and directions *
*EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS*
- Previous banquet or event management experience is ideal. However, training may be provided for outstanding candidates who lack previous professional experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that fluctuates with hotel and client needs
*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*
- This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in/outdoors.
- To fully perform his/her duties, Banquet Staff will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, bend, push, and pull.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move continuously during work hours.
- *Must be able to lift and/or carry 50-75 pounds on a regular basis. *
