Description We are offering a role in the telecom industry based in Randolph, Massachusetts. The role involves undertaking the duties of a Payroll Specialist in a professional work environment. The employment opportunity is short term contract-based.

Responsibilities:

• Processing payroll for a significant number of employees

• Assisting Human Resources in posting job advertisements and recruiting

• Managing the onboarding process for new employees

• Providing assistance to both new and existing employees regarding benefits

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee files

• Handling employee relations effectively

• Utilizing accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel proficiently

• Administering the company's payroll system, Paychex

• Undertaking administrative duties related to Human Resources. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software

• Ability to manage various Accounting Functions

• Adeptness in using Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Paychex

• Knowledge in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Understanding of payroll processes, procedures, and regulations

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and changes in regulations

• Excellent organization and multitasking skills

• Ability to provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related issues.
