Description
Our client, a fast-paced and growing organization in Rancho Santa Fe, is currently seeking a dedicated and driven Project Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hard-working professional keen on embracing challenges and contributing to the company's financial health. The Project Accountant will be responsible for comprehensive financial project management, budget oversight, and financial analysis. As the ideal candidate, you must be willing to put in the hard work, and possibly overtime, to meet project-specific and company-wide financial objectives.
Responsibilities:
Oversee comprehensive financial project management.
Prepare, review and maintain project budgets; coordinate with project managers for timely adjustments.
Conduct regular financial analysis, preparing and presenting monthly financial reports.
Ensure precise and timely billing for all project-related costs.
Assist in measures to improve financial performance and process efficiency across projects.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Accountant or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial project management tools.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Willingness to work hard, with possible overtime as required.
