Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, along with at least 5 years of experience in GL accounting. We are open to Senior Accountant profiles with light management experience who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
Responsibilities:
Perform month-end close activities including generating financial reports, conducting account reconciliations, and preparing journal entries.
Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Utilize manufacturing industry experience to manage inventory and implement cost accounting principles (average costing).
Demonstrate intermediate to advanced Excel skills to manipulate data and analyze financial statements from the trial balance.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing solutions and fostering a collaborative approach.
Utilize Acumatica software to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in GL accounting.
Experience in month-end close processes, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
Preferred experience in the manufacturing industry with a strong understanding of inventory management and cost accounting principles (average costing).
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and financial analysis.
Strong communication skills and a process-oriented mindset.
Ability to provide solutions and collaborate effectively with team members.
Proficiency in Acumatica software is a plus.
