Position Summary:

The Director of Finance oversees all Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and the Financial Reporting (FAR) for Dignity Health Medical Foundation (DHMF). Dignity Health Medical Foundation includes $1Billion in annual revenues, 250+ clinic locations with 16 unique markets within the So Cal and Nor Cal Divisions.

The Director is the accountable leader for annual budgeting, Forecasting and Long Range Financial Planning processes in collaboration with CommonSpirit Health ensuring all deadlines and requests are met. Director is a key and trusted advisor to DHMF CFO and senior leadership team. Finance director is a direct dyad to the vice presidents of operations for financial operation needs.

Director role oversees the strategic planning team responsible for new growth and acquisitions in support of Divisional strategic priorities. Additionally, the Director manages the strategic management of reporting and analysis that supports the Foundations decision making process by providing accurate financial data, dashboard type reporting tools and the provision of key performance indicator reports. The Director oversees Finances involvement in the Foundations major strategic systems projects including its involvement in projects related to budget and forecasting systems as well as other financial reporting and data visualization systems or tools. Participates in cross-functional efforts within Common Spirit to improve reporting, planning, and analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7 years of financial systems/reporting, Cost Accounting or Decision Support experience and 7+ years of leadership experience required.

  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or other related field required.

  • Microsoft Office, SQL, Relational Databases, Understanding of GAAP and IFRS, Budgeting and Cost Accounting Systems required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of Cost Accounting or Decision Support experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

  • MBA in finance or Accounting; CPA preferred.

  • Experience with Lawson, Axiom, or McKesson Cost Accounting preferred.

Pay Range

$62.51 - $90.64 /hour
