Job Description:
Overview – Unified Communications
Work as a team to resolve UC Tier 2 Help Desk issues. The individual reviews, takes ownership of reported issues and works with various customers to support Voice over IP issues for the Cisco Unified Communications Manager product suite. Individual tracks and updates the issues and documents the resolution for the customer. Issues can include IP Phones, Voicemail, Gateways, Contact Centers, Operator Consoles, CUBE and various voice circuits.
Overview – System Administrator
Work with the team to resolve System Admin issues. The individual reviews, takes ownership of reported issues and works with various customers to support Solarwinds, Linux SFTP Servers, T-Metrics Operator Consoles. This includes optimization, storage, applications, system backups, database archival and creation and maintenance of operating procedures and PMI’s.
Responsibilities – Unified Communications and System Administration
Provides technical expertise in troubleshooting telecommunications/communications Voice over IP networks.
Monitors and evaluates existing communications systems to identify deficiencies and network performance issues.
Consults with users, managers, and senior staff to ensure that deficiencies and alternatives have been fully identified and that the solution will meet requirements
Analyzes network performance, usage and call traffic flows.
Perform STIG analysis and tracking
Patches servers and addresses security vulnerabilities
Skills:
Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Contact Center Express, T-Metrics Operator Console, Cisco Routers, Cisco Analog Gateways, Cisco CUBE, Linux Redhat Admin, Microsoft Windows Server Admin, Solarwinds Admin
Current knowledge and continuous experience in the field of information and telecommunications systems utilizing specifically Cisco products for Voice over IP. Requires at least 3 plus years experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Unified Communications Manager and various Voice Gateways. Additional knowledge of Cisco Unity Connection and Cisco Contact Center Express is highly desirable.
Working with and troubleshooting SIP Trunks is desirable.
Knowledge of Solarwinds, Linux SFTP server and Cisco ISE is very beneficial.
Experience: (Meet one of the below criteria to obtain TESA Status in Germany)
11 years of recent specialized experience
Or
7 years recent specialized experience with an Associates degree
Or
3 years recent specialized experience with a Bachelors degree

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $105,800. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
