Job Title: Structural Welder
Job Description
Employee in this job will be completing MIG welding on the housing units. In this role, they will take a blueprint to set up the overall weld, which is more custom as they are making different size racks/houses. They will follow blueprints, set up, clamp and tack weld, and overall MIG weld the units together. Candidates in this role must be able to read blueprints, layout design, and do structural welding.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements.
Set up welding equipment and materials as per the blueprint specifications.
Clamp and tack weld components to ensure proper alignment.
Perform MIG welding on various sizes of racks and housing units.
Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
Essential Skills
MIG welding experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Structural welding proficiency
Knowledge of layout design
Experience in fabrication and pipe welding
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Willingness to train and obtain certifications
Commitment to continuous learning and skill development

Work Environment
Large manufacturing building where units are built in teams of 3-4 people. The environment is fast-paced and well-lit, though people will get dirty due to the nature of the work. There is no A/C, but fans are available to maintain air flow. Steel-toed shoes and long pants are required every day.

This is a Contract position based out of Ramsey, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
