As Associate Manager you will collaborate with one of our largest Insurance customers for programs to convert policies from block of legacy platforms into wmA. You will be involved on requirement gathering, designing, development, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, version upgrades, conversions, and migrations.

We expect you to take ownership of your role, providing your expertise on processes improvement and best practices implementation, sharing your knowledge and ideas with the rest of the team.

You will be the face of DXC in front of our customer, and we trust that you will perform a great job understanding the customer needs to deliver robust, clean, and scalable solutions.

Job Functions

• You will be responsible for converting source system data into wmA. The required skill sets are programming in Mainframe COBOL, JCL in Microfocus environment.

• This role involves understanding source system, identifying the gaps between source and target system, develop/customize modules to match source system to target system, resolve errors & analyze balancing mismatches as part of conversion.

• Sharing your knowledge with less experienced team members.

Qualifications

• Experience with Life Insurance & Annuity Platforms such as wmA/Vantage-One. mandatory

• Experience with Mainframe (COBOL, JCL, Microfocus, DB2).

• Experience with data migrations and integrations.

• Strong analytical aptitude, an ability to structure complex or undefined business problems.

• Decomposition of high-level information into details business requirements.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $73,100 - $135,700.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
