Summary:

Creative Experiences (Creative X) is a global, integrated creative agency that drives the creative vision for our brands and how they are perceived in the world. We develop all consumer brand content and experiences for the Facebook company, Facebook app, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp. Our vision is fearless creativity that redefines social. While we lead our team to create brand and product systems, we also guide our lead agencies in the creation of content for TV, Print and OOH. The ideal candidate will be a strong design systems thinker who can define the motion behaviors of a variety of brands across many surfaces and dimensions in partnership with other designers and creatives. You should be able to work independently from a brief, prioritize tasks, track essential details, and deliverables across multiple projects.

Required Skills:

  1. Develops work that inspires others and sets the vision for brand expression through motion design

  2. Deliver strategic and conceptual motion principles and systems that communicate brand intention and value across the Facebook portfolio of brands

  3. Create motion systems and design solutions with a high level of craft and attention to detail

  4. Develop original breakthrough design thinking for a variety of brand and product touch-points

  6. Build flexible motion systems to enable partners and other designers to scale effectively across the Facebook portfolio of brands on a number of surfaces

  7. Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of stakeholders and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas throughout marketing and product

  8. Collaborate with creatives, program managers, marketing leadership, stakeholders and production agencies to serve a global audience

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in motion design, with experience in brand or product systems

  2. Motion graphics experience in a deadline-driven environment

  3. Experience with narrative storytelling in combination with core marketing objectives

  4. Experience in After Effects and Cinema 4D

  5. Experience with industry standard product design tools such as Sketch and Figma

  6. Knowledge of current industry standard audio/video formats and codecs

  7. Experience with digital content management systems and digital workflows with understanding of how to organize and manage content

  8. Experience telling stories across multiple platforms

  9. Experience with audio/video production and post-production utilizing current technologies

  10. Eligible to work in the US
