DXC Technology Marketing Analyst (Jr) in Raleigh, North Carolina

DXC Product Innovation / DXC Platform X team

The DXC Platform X (https://dxc.com/us/en/offerings/applications/platform-x) Product Marketing team is responsible for developing and implementing compelling product go-to-market strategies that effectively communicate the value and benefits of our industry-leading Platform X product portfolio to drive growth, increase brand awareness and ultimately translate these efforts into incremental revenue for DXC.

This position will be part of a small team of consultants providing strategic product marketing and communications expertise. You will work with graphic designers, product managers, sales professionals, and other corporate functions to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.

We are looking for a prolific and talented content creator to write and produce various types of deliverables to showcase the value of our products. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.

Essential Job Functions

  • Work with cross functional teams (e.g., product, consulting, marketing) to define product positioning and value propositions.

  • Develop messaging and create product marketing materials (e.g., strategic customer/partner presentations, product demonstrations, sales guides, videos) to showcase product value; differentiated by customer persona/segment.

  • Create proactive/reactive communication content including presentations, memos, announcements, Q&A’s, blog posts and other corporate social media channels.

  • Seek to continuously improve our methods and approaches used to identify opportunities, as well as develop, deliver, and launch new products.

  • Solicit and receive feedback on content and gaps making recommendations to incorporate or build new content.

  • Gain approvals for communications and distribute materials using DXC tools and distribution channels.

  • Plan and facilitate meetings, webcasts, and training events for various stakeholders documenting outcomes and coordinating follow-up actions.

  • Train key stakeholders including the account/sales channels on how to communicate the value of products to customers.

  • Provides sales support, developing sales content, capability development, and operational support for sales campaigns.

  • Assist in executing sales enablement initiatives in alignment with sales objectives.

  • Participate in the development and delivery of training programs, with a focus on content support.

  • Conduct industry, win/loss and competitive analysis, assesses market trends and understands industry innovations.

  • Partner with organizational leaders and corporate functions on internal and external communications for employees, account teams, customers, analysts, and strategic partners

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related business degree

  • Typically, 2+ years of relevant work experience with external and/or internal corporate/program communications and marketing

  • Proven experience in sales enablement and developing marketing and communications for various audiences at different levels (e.g., executive, management, front-line employees, industry analysts, customers)

  • Technical aptitude and desire to work in the IT services industry and learn about technology.

  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations and manage competing priorities.

  • Strong organization and attention to detail skills

  • Creative thinker who can develop and execute content in multiple formats including video.

  • A continuous learner who stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

  • Advanced skills in MS Office tools

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media.

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a "roll up your sleeves" work ethic.

  • Possess a high degree of integrity and sense of confidentiality.

  • Flexibility to work “off hours” to accommodate global team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale organizational transformation efforts.

  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.

  • Experience working in a global team environment.

  • SharePoint, MS Teams and/or other collaboration tools experience

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign).

  • Excellent facilitation/presentation skills

  • Research and analytical experience (i.e. analyzing industry news and trends)
