Adecco US, Inc. Logistics Coordinator in Raleigh, North Carolina

This manufacturing company is a global leader in pharmaceutical isolator technology, committed to excellence in sterile manufacturing solutions. At our U.S. headquarters in Raleigh, NC, we are growing our logistics operations and are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support our expanding team.

Position Summary:

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing the full logistics lifecycle, ensuring efficient and compliant shipment and delivery of materials to and from our client’s warehouses. This individual plays a key role in coordinating with logistics service providers, managing freight and LTL carrier shipments, and supporting internal teams with timely and accurate logistics services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the shipment and delivery of materials to internal stakeholders and authorized customers

  • Perform relevant SAP system transactions and ensure compliance with logistics workflows

  • Create and manage basic shipments with freight and LTL carriers

  • Track and facilitate time-sensitive domestic shipments

  • Serve as the main point of contact for logistics service providers

  • Assist in updating and improving Logistics Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Organize and manage communication within the shared freight email inbox

  • Maintain accurate local shipping documentation and support Finance with shipment references

  • Support service teams with field return logistics

  • Understand and identify hazmat vs. non-hazmat shipment regulations

  • Maintain forklift certification, as required

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and uphold our client’s commitment to compliance

Qualifications:

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or shipping coordination

  • Proficiency with SAP or other ERP/logistics systems preferred

  • Knowledge of domestic shipping practices, including LTL and hazmat regulations

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one

  • Understanding of safety procedures in regulated workspaces

Pay Details: $31.25 to $32.69 per hour
