SMX is seeking an ISR Operations Subject Matter Expert. This position will provide leadership support to future operational planning for information collection activities and operational integration to strategic priorities in the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility (AOR). This role will provide intelligence operational expertise to facilitate enhanced collaboration between current and future planning to achieve designated operations, activities, and investments (OAIs). Additionally, this individual will provide team leadership to a variety of functional experts supporting developments across multiple areas of operation.
This position requires a DoD TS/SCI which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Leads future operational Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) planning strategies.
Conducts cross-section integration for staffing support to ensure future plans are in alignment with strategic requirements.
Assists in the integration of operational requirements within regional and international domain execution.
Provides advisory and roadmap development for identifying & enhancing pathways to improve timeliness and effectiveness of future collaboration requirements.
Supports periodic regional travel to partner nations in theater AOR and Hawaii based planning sessions, as required.
Maintains a flexible work schedule to adapt to required directives, accommodating requests for surge support.
Supports work with U.S. interagency and DoD working groups, conferences, and engagements.
Provides advisory on platform and capability employment strategies to enhance information requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
Required Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Fifteen (15) years working intelligence operations and information collection activities.
Ten (10) years of combined joint, interagency, or regional experience in planning and execution of military operations.
Five (5) years of experience in the INDOPACOM AOR.
Experience with ISR platforms and multi-domain collection capabilities.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Valid USA passport
Expert in use of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams among others.
Capacity to take initiative and work independently.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and interface with disparate government customers and requirement holders to accomplish program objectives.
Demonstrated proficiency communicating observations, recommendations, and findings clearly and concisely to leadership.
Desired Skills & Experience
Extensive Experience working with INDOPACOM Defense Attaché Office / Office of Defense Cooperation / Pacific Augmentation Team.
Assignment on intelligence section staff leadership role within last 5 years within INDOPACOM or sub-commands.
Familiarity or experience with U.S. foreign policy in the INDOPACOM AOR.

The proposed salary for this position is:
$139,200—$222,800 USD
