Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Job Description

The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for the inventory control of finished goods as well as raw materials. This position will ensure accurate inventory management through cycle counts and effective inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile receiving and purchasing documentation and distribute verified documentation to the accounting and purchasing departments.

  • Ensure all deliveries are properly received and posted in the company ERP system.

  • Report daily material movement to accounting to accurately reflect used quantities within the production process.

  • Work with accounting and plant management to ensure critical supply (min/max) levels are maintained and conduct inventory cycle counts either monthly or quarterly using required tag controls and test counts.

  • Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately received and stored, including working with the material handling coordinator to ensure contract-specific items are separated, counted, and properly stored.

  • Identify and report slow-moving inventory and obsolete material to management.

  • Maintain proper inventory to meet customer demands efficiently.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the plant to ensure continuity and streamlined processes related to material handling, inventory control, and documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in inventory control and management.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems.

  • Strong reconciliation skills for receiving and purchasing documentation.

  • Ability to conduct accurate inventory cycle counts.

  • Knowledge of material handling and storage processes.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
