What You Will Contribute: This position is part of the team responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, driving inventory process improvements, and delivering inventory to the appropriate areas, at the appropriate time, in the appropriate quantities. Major Job Duties/Accountability: Weekly Cycle Counting Research root causes of inventory errors Research inventory activity to help locate missing inventory Track and implement physical inventory location changes Review output of planning system and take appropriate actions Update computer systems to reflect current information Reinforce good inventory techniques and procedures with users Prepare weekly cycle count accuracy report for assembly areas Analyze trends in errors Back-up up other department functions, including customer order promising Other duties as assigned Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a related field Strong proficiency in Excel preferred ERP LX experience preferred Ability to demonstrate Strong communication skills with a focus on active listening Up to 2 years of formal post-high school specialized trade, technical school or college preferred Competitive Total Rewards at Badger Meter: Competitive Pay Annual Bonus Eligible for Annual Pay Increases Comprehensive Health, Vision, and Dental Coverage 15 days Paid Time Off + 11 Paid Holidays Two Ways to Save for Retirement: Badger Meter contributes 25 cents for every dollar you contribute to the plan, up to 7% of your eligible compensation.
