Job Description:
We’re looking for a SME, Asset Servicing to join our Finance team at MBPS. In this role, requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including Middle Office, operational teams, and technology partners, to enhance service delivery, improve processes, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact and provide expert advice on asset servicing processes, including custody, settlement, corporate actions, and income processing.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and initiate process improvements to improve efficiency, accuracy and controls.
• Lead or participate in projects related to asset servicing, including system upgrades, regulatory changes, and process transformations.
• Assist in preparing MIs, lead and participate on business governance calls.
• Conduct coaching sessions among peers.
• Diligently work with the clients to obtain timely responses and/or elections from fund managers.
• Timely submission of responses and/or elections and ensure such instructions are received and accepted for processing by the custodian banks.
• Do quality checking for the processed corporate events.
• Ensure that checklist will be completed.
• Verify entitlements with respective custodian banks for daily corporate action events.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of trades, corporate action events into the system.
• Provide support to the team as required, to participate in a regular program of industry specific training and inter-departmental cross training to ensure continuity of service.
• Remain updated with relevant securities industry development and market-specific best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related course, CPA board exam passer is an advantage
• Three to six years relevant work experience
• Knowledge in securities instruments/settlements and investment process
• Basic to average MS Office skills
• Knowledge in third party data platforms such as Bloomberg, SIX, SimCorp Dimension and BBHInfoAction.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision
• Strong analytical ability, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Client focused with the ability to prioritize responsibilities
• Influence and negotiate with team and clients in a sophisticated and demanding business environment
• React quickly and meet tight deadlines maintaining accuracy and thoroughness
• Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in working with management and clients, adapting change strategies.
