Job Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Director, Procurement Process Expert to join our Procurement Operations team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to oversee the optimization of Procurement business processes within the organization. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams within procurement and related organization to identify opportunities for process optimization and implementing solutions that align with the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Lead efforts to identify inefficiencies in current business processes and develop strategies for improvement. Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Lastly, Act as the End-to-End Global Procurement Process Subject Matter expert, from Source to Pay

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Management: Lead the cross functional collaboration to address issues and complete initiatives. Influence, and negotiate with other towers, departments, and stakeholders to gather requirements, implement changes, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation of new processes and procedures across the organization.

  • Process Design, Documentation & Standardization: Collaborate with stakeholders and lead the design and development of streamlined processes that meet business requirements and enhance overall performance. Head the development of documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing among team members.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and track progress over time. Data Analysis: utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of inefficiencies within business processes.

  • Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on process improvement methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in Procurement – (Purchasing, Supply Chain, P2P, Contract and Vendor Management, Supplier Relationship Management)

  • Proven experience in process improvement and project and/or change management, preferably in a managerial role

  • Certification in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or BPM is a must, preferably Black belt certified

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, strong data analysis, storytelling, and influencing capability, proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools/software

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to negotiate assertively to achieve a common goal. In depth experience that thrives in a cross-functional team environment

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve results
