Copeland Buyer II Procurement and Logistics in Quezon City, Philippines

Your tasks will include negotiating competitive deals, engaging with collaborators, vetting and onboarding suppliers, sourcing new vendors, overseeing contracts, and ensuring accurate reporting.

In this capacity, you will be instrumental in managing purchasing, supplier relationships, contract oversight, and sourcing for indirect material commodities. This gives you a vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

As a Buyer II, Procurement and Logistics, You Will:

  • Perform the end-to-end purchasing process, including RFQ activities, creating and issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Ensure cost-effectiveness in procurement by negotiating prices with suppliers through traditional methods or online reverse auctions/bidding.

  • Provide timely updates and communication to internal stakeholders regarding RFQs and purchase requisitions.

  • Evaluate supplier performance to maintain quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

  • Identify and onboard new suppliers to meet business requirements and enhance supplier diversity.

  • Develop and execute purchase agreements, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure legal compliance with the company's legal counsel.

  • Provide accurate and timely updates on procurement activities, including submitting reports and delivering presentations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in any Business or Engineering courses; a diploma in Supply Chain is a plus.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement, specifically in purchasing indirect materials. Relevant certifications are highly desirable but not required.

  • Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each is completed efficiently and on schedule.

  • Proven ability to effectively negotiate favorable terms, prices, and agreements to secure the best value for the organization.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as adept in using Power Platform for enhanced productivity and automation.
