JOB GOALS:To lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential by translating the district curriculum goals and objectives into learning experiences for each individual student in the district.CTE Health Occupations programs provide students with career and technical education in the healthcare field, offering training and certifications. This position is to teach the Nursing Services program. Qualified candidates must be registered nurses and hold or receive the proper CTE certification.\ \ QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 1. Valid State of Arizona Teaching Certification.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:191 Days (10 Months)\ COMPENSATION:Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position\ BENEFITS:As per QCUSD District policy\ REPORTS TO:Principal\ HOURS:40 hours per week and may require longer hours -Monday-Friday7 a.m.-3 p.m.\ CLASSIFICATION:Exempt\ PERFORMANCERESPONSIBILITIES:\ Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

1. 1. Supports the Strategic Plan of Queen Creek Unified School District.

{=html} <!-- --> 1. 1. Creates a weekly written lesson plan describing daily learning experiences this weekly lesson plan is to be correlated with the aims and/or objectives in the curriculum guide and/or course outline.

{=html} <!-- --> 1. 1. Monitors and assesses student progress in order to provide feedback on a regular basis to students and their parents.

{=html} <!-- --> 1. 1. Diagnoses, instructs and evaluates specific student needs and seeks assistance of district specialists as required.

{=html} <!-- --> 1. 1. Communicates aims and/or objectives to students in a well-planned, organized manner using clear and precise language.

{=html} <!-- --> 1. 1. Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.

{=html} <!-- --> 1. 1. Assists the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing the development of proper student behavior.

{=html} <!-- --> 1. 1. Develops and implements reasonable classroom rules of behavior and procedure in a fair and just manner.
