Summary You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the G3 Installation Protection of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will serve as the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) Program Manager, subject matter expert, and principal advisor to the Installation Commander and Tenant Commands on all regional and installation CBRNE matters. You will develop and implement comprehensive regional CBRNE protection and response capabilities designed to reduce the risk caused by an accidental or intentional release of CBRNE contaminants. You will write, research, and submit proposals for repair, modification, or replacement of installation CBRNE equipment. You will develop, plan, coordinate, execute, and assess regional/installation CBRNE exercises and training to ensure that the installation CBRNE capability is exercised and evaluated. You will provide guidance to the Postal Officer and Postal Chief as well as all mail handlers to ensure the region is prepared for CBRNE attacks on the postal system. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing security management, training, and administrative expertise AND developing and coordination security policies and procedures in support of programs.
