Act as part of a Professional Services team, work efficiently with Consultants, Solution Architects, Project Managers, and other internal & external interfaces to ensure that the customer succeeds in their objectives.

  • As a specialist resource, responsible for consulting, advising, recommending, designing, and where appropriate deploying, specific technical solutions based on own specialist product knowledge and best practices in the subject area, for standard projects in country.

  • In order for the Siemens PLM Software solution to be delivered effectively and contribute to the customer. In line with project processes and messaging, work well with the customer to support the management of customer expectations and support customer adoption.

Education/ Qualification (BE / B. TECH (IT / Comp / Mech))

Experience:

  • 8-15 years of Teamcenter Admin/Support experience, with at least 7 years supporting a

customer Production instance

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Interaction with Engagement and Pursuit team regarding upcoming projects

  • Review of Architecture document with Pursuit Architect and maintain it further

Provide estimates for new Infrastructure requests or changes and calc link updates.

Analyze and optimize infra-cost over-usage.

Keep Architecture Diagram updated with the latest infrastructure details

  • Expectation setting with Field Services Solution Architect regarding CApS scope of work

  • Ensure a smooth transition of the project from the Engagement phase to the Deploy phase.

  • Support the Install/Deploy team with technical guidance

  • Review architecture and deployment before handover to Field Services or Customer

  • Lead the Solution Handover from Field Services to the CApS Operate team

  • Act as a Technical escalation point for all stakeholders

Document root cause analysis of issues

Reach out to GTAC for Product Issues and track IRs

Co-ordinate with the Implementation team for L3 issues

  • Technical Validation for change requests with estimation

  • Develop and maintain a Knowledge Management database for solved issues and RCAs

Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Teamcenter Installation in a distributed environment

  • Teamcenter custom template install using BMIDE & troubleshoot

  • Distributed FMS configuration

  • Dispatcher configuration & troubleshooting

  • Active Workspace Installation and Configuration

  • NX and Solidedge CAD Integration

  • SAP Integration

  • Working experience in Perl/Batch Scripts

Good to have Technical Skills:

  • Catia, AutoCAD and ProE CAD Integration with Teamcenter

  • Mentor Pads, Altium Integration

Certifications

  • ITIL

  • AWS Cloud Certifications

Other Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong analytical and trouble shooting abilities.

  • Strong Stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent Escalation management skills

  • Has a systematic way to solve problems.

  • Should be able to perform root cause analysis and arrive at the right solution

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Learning attitude - willing to learn new things.

  • Basic Linux and Windows Operating System knowledge

Good to Have Skills:

  • Mentoring of junior team members

  • Use Pareto or 5 Why or any other Industry technique for root cause analysis

  • Ability to automate some of the tasks

  • Scripting knowledge would be useful

  • DBA knowledge on Oracle/MS SQL
