Citigroup System Analyst in Pune, India

The Engineer Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and development of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned frameworks. Responsibilities: Develop strong understanding of Citi Eco-systems and API design Patterns followed. • Hiring of design resources / enabling design resources with effective skillset. • Set up trainings portals and conduct trainings of new joinees. • Conduct regular skill enhancements workshops for Designers. • Identify and set up the best practices and deliverables for designers. • Review and define the processes to be followed by designers to ensure minimal overheads and quality documents and solutions. • Ensure effective cataloging of assets and work extensively upon any new catalog or tools adoptions and training the team on same. • Lay out design patterns for designers to follow and ensure effective adoption in designs. Ensure new design patters to be published as required based on new Architectures or requirements. • Build expertise across domains and customer journeys of Digital/Assisted and External Partner consuming Citi APIs. • Support teams on any issues faced in terms new patterns / message formats. • Review Customer Journeys, Journey mapping with API specs, functional and technical design documents for key requirements. • Work with Architects, Info Sec, Business and Other Internal/Stakeholder to come up with end to end designs for any impediments resolutions faced by Designers. Qualifications: 8-11 years of relevant experience in an Engineering System Analyst role Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment Business Analysis experience Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Experience working with various tools like JIRA, Bit bucket, Swagger editors, SOAP UI/testing tools. Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience • Extensive Knowledge of Consumer Banking Domain, APIs, Customer Experience on Digital Platforms. • Exposure of latest digital banking experiences in Industry and strong hold / eagerness to learn system architecture, data flows and message orchestrations. • Expertise in Requirement Gathering, converting requirements into Customer Journeys knitted with APIs, tech design documents, API specification - functional and tech documents. • Strong expertise and understanding of Consumer Banking Customer Journeys on Digital Platforms, APIs Integration with UI. • Expertise in deriving test scope for the requirements and acceptance criteria of user stories / Requirements. • Strong understanding of Agile practices, User Story creations, SDLC. • High level understanding of Micro services – overview / Open Banking / Oauth2 • Hands-on experience of tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, Swagger Editor, Confluence, MS Office (Visio/Excel/PPTs). • Expertise in understanding functional issues and guiding the team for resolution. • Advanced communication skills, team player with willingness to learn and innovate with forward thinking Organization. • Ability to inspire team to enhance their skillsets, manage team and review tech solutions and provide feedbacks on regular Intervals • Strong understanding of API design practices across Industry and ensure systemic way of design compliance. • Strong understanding of XML, Restful JSON, SOA concepts, Web Services. ------------------------------------------------- Job Family Group: Technology ------------------------------------------------- Job Family: Systems & Engineering ------------------------------------------------------ Time Type: ------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
