Job Summary

The Specialist will design, model, configure, and implement current and future roadmap of the Enterprise IT Asset management team. The position will be responsible to continue configuring, deploying, enhancing and expanding tools and processes for Engineering Software License management and replicate the same for integration of several software from all IT Value chains by applying the same best practices.

The Specialist will envision and lead implementations, provide third level support as required, and deploy enhancement projects while also mentoring a dedicated team of Analysts to ensure all 'Run' projects and tasks are successfully executed on time.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Expert knowledge in Enterprise Software Asset Management

  • Expertise and experience in Engineering Software Asset management in a medium to large organization.

  • Thorough Knowledge of licensing systems like Flexlm, RLM, DSLS etc. (configuration, troubleshooting, RCA).

  • Working Knowledge of manufacturing systems, apps, and processes along with exposure to DevSecOps tools and technologies.

  • Advanced knowledge of License management of Mfg apps, DevSecOps apps and Engineering/PLM apps like Enovia.

  • Exposure and intermediate knowledge in license management of Mfg and Plant apps like FaciliWorks, ThingWorx, Gage Trak, Enovia, Quantum, Teklynx, Maximo etc.

  • Knowledge of IT and commercial apps Asset management technicalities and processes like Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe, Bluebeam, ERP systems etc.

  • Advanced ability to negotiate and cost-out large Enterprise contracts (close to 60 contracts), Service and License Agreements and renewals with suppliers in all the domains above.

  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing and Digital Engineering.

  • Fluent in visualizing and Creating dashboards (e.g., PowerBI), Automation planning and execution, Data model creations, Data analysis algorithms.

  • ServiceNow operational knowledge along with exposure to Automated provisioning and software deployment (e.g., Flexera’s AppPortal).

  • Should have managed at least 2 integration projects related to Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures.

  • Ability to “think large and present crisp” in excellent written and verbal communication

  • Present data to help Engineering and IT leaders take a decision with regards to investments and optimizing spends

  • Participate in Annual Budget planning exercise for various business entities

  • Positive and assertive negotiation capability during discussion with suppliers

Qualifications:

  • B.Tech. / B.E from an accredited institution

  • Overall Experience: 12+ years, with minimum 8+ years in Software Asset Management

Skills:

  • Knowledge of various Software Asset Management Processes and tools (on-prem and cloud)

  • Knowledge of QoS and Six Sigma processes in an IT environment (ITIL certification mandatory)

  • Knowledge of Supplier Management systems and contract negotiations (including supplier matrix)

  • MS Office (specifically PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, PowerPoint and Excel) and report development skills to develop required reports and metrics and derive decks presentable to SLT"

  • Self-starter and self-motivated with a keen acumen towards customer satisfaction and problem management

  • Transparent and proactive communication to senior leaders

  • Collaborate across value streams/chains within IT

  • Think forward approach to ensure achievement of current goals and expansion of future goals.

  • Ability to “think large and present crisp” in excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Positive and assertive negotiation capability during discussion with suppliers

  • Team player, as this is a bridge role between team and management.

  • Ability to manage time, prioritze work and ensure deadlines are met successfully
