Job Description:

• Senior Infrastructure Architect to have extensive experience in Linux environments, particularly with expertise in Foreman/Redhat Satellite.

• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions to support our organization’s technology needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and architect complex infrastructure solutions based on business requirements, utilizing Linux environments.

• Lead the implementation and deployment of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess needs, and propose innovative solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability of the infrastructure.

• Maintain and optimize existing infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies.

• Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to procure hardware, software, and services as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, with a focus on Linux environments.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Foreman/Redhat Satellite for provisioning, configuration management, and patch management.

• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, including shell scripting and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).

• In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and security best practices.

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
