Primary responsibilities will be to participate in defining and evolving an effective cross functional testing approach; design test plans and execute them per approach; effectively liaise with various development and testing teams to help raise product quality across Siemens PL family of products.
Design, maintain and execute test cases following defined testing strategy
Analyze issues found to pinpoint culprit and report issues clearly and precisely to responsible development team
Work with various development teams within the Siemens PL to improve issue identification and resolution effectiveness and efficiency
Gather and report testing as well as quality status to team manager
Identify and escalate important software issues in a timely fashion
Prerequisite Qualification and Skills-
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering
Conversant with CAD and Data Management software
5-10 years of MCAD software testing and/or Product Design experience
Must have excellent communication skills
Must be detail oriented with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Must be flexible and work well within team environment
Must be willing and capable of learning new technology and product areas as well as continuous improvement on existing skills
Proven ability to maintain customer oriented focus and advocate for quality
Self-motivated and driven with least or no supervision required
Experience in Team center or working in managed mode environment will be an added advantage.
