OPEN TEXT, INC. Senior Systems Engineer in PROVO, Utah
Job Duties:
Perform installation, configuration, troubleshooting, migration, patching, and upgrades for Linux, UNIX, Windows, and web server systems. Provide software packages, backup, recovery, maintenance, and support for Linux, UNIX, Windows, and web server systems. Provide 24/7 support for mission-critical systems as well as enterprise-level applications. Discover and audit unknown or abandoned applications within the environment. Maintain Twiki, wiki, documentation, Apple Push Notification Server, and Novell Push Notification Servers. Troubleshoot server and application performance issues. Interact with business owners of applications that run on IT servers, assisting them to have what they need to meet their needs/goals. Build out AWS and GCP environments to migrate applications and services. Deploy and manage Harbor image container registry.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in system administration or system engineering.
Of the required experience, must have:
· 5 Years of experience with Linux and/or Windows Server administration;
· 5 years of experience with Web server management;
· 5 years of experience with Apache and Tomcat;
· 5 Years of experience with TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, SSL, LDAP and SSH;
· 3 years of Experience with AWS and GCP;
· 3 years of experience with any combination of the following: Bash, PHP, Java, and/or Python;
· 3 years of experience with SSL Certificate or TrustStore / KeyStore; and
· 2 years of experience with Novell Push Notification Services.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
