Track Stadium Grounds Maintenance Worker

BYU Grounds takes care of and beautifies all of BYU Campus and surrounding areas. We maintain sports fields, greenhouses, lawns, flower beds, campus sidewalks/pavers, trees/shrubs/plants, and even recycling. Working for BYU Grounds provides a great opportunity to be in the beautiful outdoors working alongside wonderful people!

 

About the position:

  • Work with a team to maintain and beautify the Clarence F. Robison Track Stadium and Riviera on-campus housing grounds.
  • Work with field managers to learn proper field care technique and turf management.
  • Duties include: mowing, line painting, string trimming and other general maintenance tasks. 

Benefits:

  • Starting wage of $14/hour with regular opportunities for raises if working 14+ hours a week or have previous experience.
  • Flexible hours (between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.)
  • Work up to 17.5 hours/week.
  • Get to work outdoors and in close proximity with athletics!
  • Learn sport field management.

Qualifications: 

  • Be physically able to perform the essential functions listed above to maintain BYU Grounds, providing a safe and inspirational environment.
  • Responsible and dependable, willing to work independently and with a team in a professional manner with the campus community.
