Position Summary
The Supply Chain Senior Maintenance Service Manager is responsible for the oversight of multiple Maintenance Service Teams that conduct routine, planned and unplanned maintenance activities in the Supply Chain facilities, including Retail DC’s, Mail Order and Specialty buildings. The role will have Mail and Facility Service Managers as direct reports. The primary goals of this role will be to maintain oversight of multiple maintenance programs to ensure best in class safety, building inhabitability and high reliability of automated material handling systems. The position is also responsible for the reliability, process engineering, yield control, capital project execution and continuous improvement of the production process. Activities include, but are not limited to, strategic maintenance planning of facility systems integrity, material handling systems reliability and resiliency, ensuring regulatory compliance, prioritizing investments across the network, R&M financial management and providing operational engineering support across the network. The position is also responsible for preparing subject specific budgets, control expenditures, overseeing adherence to company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner, with the Facility Services and Operations Teams, with an emphasis on communication, performance accountability, and positive employee relations management. This candidate will also promote and reinforce safety, security awareness, and compliance among all associates.
Required Qualifications
This position will include travel up to 50%, and include routine expense
management and reconciliation(s).
Will have 10-15 direct reports, depending on location.
5+ years of Demonstrated extensive maintenance management experience
delivering desired results on-time and on-budget.
Serving as subject matter expert, assisting in steering and development of
capital projects in supply chain and mail buildings.
Preferred Qualifications
Effective knowledge of operations and equipment management including implementing process improvements, effective workflow management, and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
Strong leadership skills to guide teams and build future leaders.
Strong understanding of maintenance practices of automated equipment.
Track record of analyzing risk, developing contingencies, and making solid decisions so as not to negatively impact a project.
Effective communicator, able to interact and influence all levels of the organization including cross functional departments of the organization and vendors/contractors.
Able to effectively prepare Executive level reporting through typical applications such as Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.
High competency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
A self-starter who can take initiative and drive results without oversight.
Engineering degree or background (Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, and Automation)
Maintenance leadership experience of large, multiple teams, campuses (leadership as direct reports, preferred)
Understanding of fiscal management principles, Capital and Expense policies, accruals, budgeting
Fluent in the Microsoft Suite of products, Project as well as AutoCAD, Solidworks.
Understanding of automated equipment and controls including PLC.
Strong analytical capabilities using tools such as CMMS.
Familiarity with expense management systems such as Ariba, Service Channel, SAP, DIP
Vender management and implements testing for IQ,OQ,IT,PQ, and FAT
Education
STEM related Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
