Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in Providence, Rhode Island, for an Attorney/Lawyer specialized in corporate law. The successful candidate will be involved in a range of duties related to corporate governance, including but not limited to, managing mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of corporate law matters.

• Use 3M, Adobe Acrobat, and other necessary tools to manage cases and documents.

• Assist in mergers and acquisitions, ensuring all legalities are accurately handled.

• Utilize Case Management Software and Conveyancer for efficient legal proceedings.

• Participate in briefing sessions and contribute to civil litigation processes.

• Administer claim administration and handle complaints within the corporate law framework.

• Stay updated with changes in corporate governance and law.

• Ensure adherence to corporate law in all aspects of consumer electronics related legal matters.

• Support all corporate work related tasks. Requirements • Must hold a detail-oriented law degree.

• Must be a member of the state bar association.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney or lawyer.

• Proficiency in using 3M and Adobe Acrobat is required.

• Experience in Case Management Software is necessary.

• Must have skills in Conveyancer and Document Management.

• Capable of Briefing and handling Civil Litigation.

• Must have experience in Claim Administration.

• Proficiency in Complaint Handling is required.

• Familiarity with Consumer Electronics is a plus.

• Must have experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A).

• Knowledge of Corporate Governance is needed.

• Must be proficient in Corporate Law.
