We are seeking a Senior Beverage Technical Project Manager with expertise in Sugar Reduction, Taste Modulation, and beverage innovation. This role will focus on leading and managing projects that enhance the taste profile and reduce sugar content across our beverage portfolio and beyond. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to drive innovation, ensuring that projects are executed on time, within budget, and meet strategic objectives.

Your key responsibilities
Lead the innovation program for Sugar Reduction/Taste, overseeing the technical development process to ensure projects are designed, planned, tracked, and delivered on time and within budget, meeting all agreed-upon objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
Build and execute innovation projects from the ground up using a stage-gate process, or take ownership of existing projects or workstreams, adapting or refining them with a new or updated vision.
Manage both domestic and global project teams virtually, ensuring seamless collaboration and progress.
Integrate technical and scientific data into the innovation program, aligning findings with the broader project vision.
Develop and foster technical innovation partnerships with customers, suppliers, and partners, ensuring close collaboration and alignment with other technical leads.

You bring
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Food Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
Proven experience in project management, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and exceptional problem-solving abilities. PMP certification is a plus.
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Innovation, R&D, and Project Management, ideally within a Global Food or Beverage CPG company or a Flavor and Fragrance company; experience in the Beverage Industry is a plus.
Solid understanding of global consumer trends related to Taste, Taste Modulation, and Sugar Reduction is highly desirable. Knowledge of competitive landscapes is an asset.
Familiarity with the regulatory and legal environment surrounding sweeteners, flavors, and ingredients.
Ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate scientific and technical results, data, and findings, including creation, application, sensory, consumer, and S&R analytical data.
